Mark Tyson.

 

Mark is a retired Home Office Qualified Police Dog Instructor.

 

Mark served for over 30 years as a Police Officer with Greater Manchester Police, having spent 27 years with the Dog Section mostly working police dogs in the inner city divisions.

He has a vast amount of experience with operational street dogs.

 

His bosses recognised this and asked him to become a member of the dog training school to pass on his knowledge and expertise before leaving the force.

                       

 

Mark was the trainer responsible for the continuation and the refresher training for all the general purpose police dogs in Manchester, he also ran initial courses for new handlers and dogs within Greater Manchester police and other forces.

 

Mark also undertook the continuation training for the drugs detection dogs and became a specialist trainer in the field of cadaver dogs (human remains detection).
